The last day of 2009 in the Calgary NE first a swirling Police Car was moving around, first i thought that the driver was drunk but no this lady Police officer was busy texting.
And then just maybe 20 minutes later I was almost pushed of the road by an officer and his car while he was so busy talking on his mobile phone that paying attention to the road was forgotten.
So Calgary Police you are humans as well and if you don’t want us the average people to talk or text while driving then why should YOU make the roads unsafe by doing so?
I liked a little train at Sears and it was on sale before Christmas but I decided not to at that point but then the sales started and it went up from 24.95 to 39.95 and again I thought that that would be a bit much.
But then I visited the Sears website and guess what they have the same product on sale for 19.95.
So I went back to the store trying to get it for the online price but NO they would not pricematch there OWN website.
If I want this train then I have to order it through Catalog shopping or there website and the let them ship it to the store (where they have at least 12 in stock) to me would be just insane to waste so many resources that for me I decided not to order it from Sears.
And people I would advice you Never to buy something in the Sears stores because you have big changes that they will charge you 100% extra like they try with the little train.
If I really want this train then I decided to order it at the manufacturer who sells and ships it for less and then it just comes from Hong Kong.
So i got some spam today and a nice one because it came from the FBI and yes they use Yahoo for there email LOL

When you go to IKEA between 9.30 and 10 you can get FREE coffee in there restaurant.
Yes only in the restaurant not in the kiosk downstairs because that one opens later.
But now you have the option of a free cup of coffee and you could even get some breakfast for 1 dollar to make it even more worth it.

On Sunday November 8, 2009 these are the things I found.
- Free Breakfast at IKEA the last day of there 5 year celebration gives you free eggs, sausage and country fries and a coffee normally this would have costed you 2 dollars and now it is free. (breakfast at IKEA is till 11am)
- Free Movie at the Plaza Theather in Kensington. At there will be shown animated shorts by the NFB at 1PM and this will take 46 min. Check this LINK for more info.
But I thought I would make a list to to help you not get sick
So what can you do to protect yourself and other of getting the flue.
Stay home when you are sick! by going out YOU are personally responsible of spreading H1N1
Shop less. I know it sounds harsh but by going out less makes it less likely that you pick up the virus.
Touch less. The H1N1 can survive on surfaces for up to 30 minutes so watch it when you touch the escalator hand rail or the most popular items in stores.
OK washing you hands helps of course
Touching nose and mouth less helps to because that is where the virus will enter your body.
Help your immune system by getting your vitamins maybe a couple more this time of year will help you.
Don’t share things like water bottles and plates and stuff because you don’t know if you friend carries the virus
These are the most important once BUT don’t forget if YOU are sick STAY HOME!!
Then the last funny thing I heard on the news yesterday. Apparently the companies making the flu shots demanded not being liable and that to me means even more that I will NOT get the vacine.
And finally don’t panic it is just the flu so if you get sick take it as you do any other flu.
